- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- pinch of salt
- 1 small can evaporated milk
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1/4 stick oleo
- 1 9-inch baked pie crust
- 1/2 can (small) of flaked coconut
Directions

1Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.

2Blend in milk and egg yolks (slightly beaten).

3Cook until thick and smooth (about 7 minutes), stirring constantly.

4Remove from heat and add oleo and coconut, blending well.

5Pour into baked 9-inch pie shell.

6Cover with meringue, sprinkle with coconut.

7Bake at 425° until brown.
