- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 3 eggs, separated
- 2 c. canned milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. coconut
Directions

1Combine in saucepan sugar and cornstarch; mix well to avoid lumps.

2Add egg yolks to milk.

3Cook slowly until thickened.

4Add butter and vanilla.

5After butter has completely melted, add coconut; stir.

6Pour into precooked pie shell.
