Coconut Fingers

  • 6 slices white or whole wheat light bread
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 c. moist shredded coconut

Directions

    Cut and quarter each slice into 4 pieces. Dip strips into condensed milk. Cover all sides and roll in coconut. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325° for 10 to 15 minutes or until delicately brown. Cookies become crisp when cool. (Ground or cut up nuts may be added to coconut.)
