- 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3 c. sifted cake flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. almond
Directions

1Cream the butter and sugar, beating well at medium speed.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Combine flour, baking powder and salt and add to creamed mixture, gradually adding milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Mix after each addition.

4Add flour and mix.

5Pour into 3 greased 9-inch pans and bake at 350° for 23 to 30 minutes.
