Coconut Pound Cake

  • 1 lb. whipped margarine
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 9 eggs
  • 3 c. flour, sifted 5 times
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 can Angel Flake coconut or 1 1/2 c. finely ground coconut

Directions

    Cream together margarine and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.

    Add vanilla; stir in flour, 1 cup at a time. Fold in coconut.

    Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 300° for 1 hour and then at 350° for 30 more minutes.
