- 1 cup sugar
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 23 cup shortening
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 12 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 12 cup chopped nuts
Directions

1Grease 9x13 pan.

2In large bowl mix flour, sugar, brown sugar, shortening, buttermilk, soda, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and eggs.

3Blend on low speed of mixer.

4In small bowl mix brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nuts.

5Pour half of the cake batter into pan; sprinkle half of the topping mix over.

6Repeat a second time.

7cover and refrigerate overnight.

8Pre-heat oven to 350F.

9Bake at 350F for 30-40 minutes.
