  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/2 to 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. snipped parsley

    in a small amount boiling salted water for 15 minutes; drain.

    Beat in butter and as much milk as necessary to make fluffy.
