Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage, shredded
  • 2 onions, grated
  • 2 carrots, grated
  • 34 cup sugar
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons celery seeds
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup oil (I use Mazola)

Directions

    Mix together salad ingredients.

    Sprinkle with sugar and let stand while making the dressing.

    Bring dressing ingredients (except oil), to a boil.

    Add oil and boil for 30 seconds.

    Pour over cabbage mixture while still hot.

    Stir well and refrigerate.

    Keeps for 14 days.
