  • 5 to 6 c. sliced apples
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • pastry for double crust 9-inch pie

Directions

    Line 9-inch pan with 1/2 of pastry or use any prepared crust. Arrange apples in unbaked shell.

    Combine flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon and sprinkle over apples.

    Dot with margarine.

    Cover with remaining crust and flute and seal edges.

    Slash several holes in top for air to come out.

    Bake at 375° for 1 1/2 hours or until crust is golden brown and apples are tender.
