Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bulk sausage or links, cooked
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onions
  • 1 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices bread (crusts only)

Directions

    Brown sausage; drain and cool.

    In a mixing bowl, beat eggs. Add milk, mustard, mushrooms, onions and cheese.

    Add cooked sausage.

    Cut crusts off bread and cut into pieces.

    Add crusts to the egg mixture; mix well.

    Put into a greased 9 x 12-inch baking dish.

    Refrigerate overnight.

    Bake at 350° until firm and brown around the edges, about 30 to 40 minutes.
