- 2/3 c. melted margarine
- 3 eggs
- 2 3/4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Directions

1Mix ingredients in order given; mix well after each egg addition.

2Spread into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

3Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.

4(Do not overbake; this has a brownie texture.) Cool in pan; cut into bars or squares.
