- 3/4 c. butter
- 2 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Melt butter in a large saucepan; add brown sugar.

2Cool.

3Stir in eggs; blend well.

4Add vanilla.

5Add flour and baking powder. Stir in chocolate bits and nuts.

6Pour into a greased and floured jelly roll pan.

7Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until done.

8Cool. Cut into squares.
