  • 1 c. long grain rice
  • 3/4 stick butter
  • 1 small pkg. blanched almonds
  • 2 cans beef consomme
  • 1 3/4 cans water

Directions

    Melt butter in casserole.

    Add rice, almonds, consomme and water.

    Bake covered for 35 minutes.

    Stir.

    Bake uncovered for 45 minutes in 350° oven.

    Serves 5 or 6.

    (Good with roast or chicken.)
