- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes (can use fresh)
- 1/2 c. white wine
- 2 handfuls sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 lb. scallops
- breadcrumbs
Directions

1Melt butter; add garlic.

2Pour into 1-quart casserole.

3Add tomatoes and mash lightly; stir in wine and mushrooms.

4If scallops are large, cut into bite-size pieces; add to casserole and mix.

5Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes, or until scallops break easily with a fork. Serve over a bed of rice or pasta.

6Yields 4 servings.
