- 1/2 c. bran
- 1 c. milk
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 c. corn meal
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs (large), beaten
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2Stir cereal and milk in a large bowl. Let stand for 10 minutes.

3Combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, soda and salt.

4Add beaten eggs, oil and vanilla to milk.

5Whisk in brown sugar until smooth.

6Add dry ingredients.

7Spoon batter into prepared cups.

8Bake 20 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean.
