- 1 c. self-rising cornmeal
- 1/2 c. plain cornmeal
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 stick margarine
Directions

1Mix self-rising cornmeal, plain cornmeal and sugar; add boiling water and mix well.

2Beat eggs and milk.

3Pour into cornmeal mixture.

4Stir well.

5In 10-inch frying pan or baking dish, melt margarine.

6Pour batter into pan.

7Scoop margarine over the top of batter.

8Bake at 400°

9for 25 to 30 minutes until nice and brown.
