- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. shortening
- 2 3/4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 3 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2Mix together shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs.

3Add flour and cream of tartar.

4Chill for 1 hour. Roll into balls.

5Dip the balls into a mixture of cinnamon and 2 tablespoons sugar.

6Place on cookie sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned.
