  • 1 large onion
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 2 cans creamed corn
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. marjoram
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. heavy cream

Directions

    Thinly slice onion and saute in butter until cooked, not brown.

    Add milk, corn, thyme, marjoram, salt and pepper.

    Simmer 1 hour.

    Peel potatoes and dice.

    Cook until done but firm; drain and add to soup.

    Last, add cream.

    Stir and serve.
