- 1 onion, chopped
- 5 Tbsp. bacon fat
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 can cream-style corn
- 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. corn meal
- 1/4 bell pepper, chopped
- red pepper
- black pepper
- salt
- bread crumbs
- butter or oleo
Directions

1Saute onion, garlic and bell pepper in bacon fat.

2Add corn. Add egg beaten with milk.

3Add corn meal and season to taste. Stir mixture over medium fire until thick.

4Pour into a buttered casserole.

5Sprinkle top with bread crumbs and dot with butter. Bake 1 hour at 350°.
