Corn Dogs

Ingredients

• 1 cup cornmeal
• 1 cup flour
• 2 Tbsp. Sugar
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 egg, slightly beaten
• 1 cup milk
• 2 Tbsp. melted shortening
• 1 lb wieners
• Fritos or Ritz Crackers
• Rice (make enough to serve 12)
• Lettuce, chopped
• Tomatoes, chopped
• Chili (recipe follows)
• Onions, chopped
• Black olives, chopped
• 1 cup peans, chopped, optional
• bell pepper, chopped
• 4 small cans taco sauce in small pitcher
• 2 cans of cheese soup
• 1/2 cup milk
