  • 2 c. corn, drained (save liquid to add to the milk to make 1 c.)
  • 1 1/2 c. Bisquick
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg, beaten

Directions

    Sift all ingredients and mix.

    Combine eggs and cream-style corn and the cup of liquid.

    Add together with dry ingredients. Mix until flour is moistened.

    Drop from full teaspoons in deep, hot fat at 375°.

    Fry until golden brown, about 3 minutes.

    Makes about 18.

    Drain on paper towel.

    Serve with vegetables or syrup and sausage.
