- 4 c. hot water
- 2 c. Indian Head corn meal
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 c. flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk or evaporated milk
- 1 heaping tsp. baking powder
- dash of salt
Directions

1Put water, meal and oleo in a heavy pot and cook, stirring constantly until thickened.

2Remove from stove and stir in all other ingredients until smooth.

3Pour into a 14 x 10 x 2-inch greased pan.

4Bake at 350° for 1 hour until golden brown and cracking.
