  • 2 small round loaves chewy, dense bread (such as sourdough)
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen corn
  • 1 medium potato, peeled, cubed and parboiled until tender
  • 1/2 small green pepper
  • 1/2 c. half and half
  • 1 c. chicken broth
  • salt and pepper to taste

    Cut top off loaves, using serrated knife.
