  • 1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies
  • 3/4 c. yellow corn meal
  • 3/4 c. American or Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in a casserole.

    Cover and bake at 350° about 1 hour.

    Remove cover during last 15 minutes.
