- 14 cup butter
- 12 cup buttermilk baking mix
- 12 cup cornmeal
- 14 cup water
- salt, in shaker
Directions

1Melt butter in 9x9-inch baking pan.

2Stir all but salt together to a soft dough.

3Turn out on floured cloth covered board.

4Knead till smooth.

5Roll into 6x4-inch rectangle.

6Cut into 8 strips.

7Dip each into melted butter, coating all sides.

8Arrange in pan, sprinkle lightly with salt.

9Bake at 450 12 to 15 minutes or till golden brown.

10Makes 8 sticks.
