- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- dash of salt
- 1 (16 1/2 oz.) can cream-style corn
- chopped green onions (optional)
Directions

1Heat grease in deep fryer.

2Add enough milk to remaining ingredients to blend.

3Using a tablespoon (depending on the size you want), drop mixture into hot grease.

4Be careful not to splash hot grease.

5Fry until golden brown.

6Drain on paper towels. Makes about 2 dozen.
