  • 4 to 5 game hens
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. stuffing mix
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp. dry white wine
  • 2 tsp. soy sauce

Directions

    Thaw hens.

    Follow directions on package for stuffing mix. Spoon stuffing into cavity of each hen.

    Mix butter with sugar, lime juice, wine and soy sauce.

    Brush hens with sauce.

    Place on rack or trivet in slow cooking pot.

    For 3 1/2 quart pot, place hens on end, neck end down.

    Cover and cook on low 5 to 7 hours. Baste at least once during cooking, if possible.
