- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 34 teaspoon salt
- 2 -4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 14 cups sour cream
- 14 cup shortening, melted
Directions

1Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl; make a well in center of mixture.

2Combine egg, sour cream, and shortening, add to dry ingredients, stir just until moistened.

3Spoon into greased muffin pans, filling two-thirds full.

4Bake at 425F for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
