- 3 c. crab meat
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 c. cracker crumbs
- 1/3 c. cream of celery soup
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 onion, minced
- 1/2 bell pepper, minced
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp. Texas Pete
- 1 tsp. salt
- pepper to taste
- additional cracker crumbs to coat

1Mix ingredients.

2May need to add more cracker crumbs to mixture if too moist.

3Form crab cakes, 2 tablespoons of mixture to a cake (approximately 1/2-inch thick by 3-inch diameter).

4Coat crab cake with additional cracker crumbs.

5Layer in waxed paper and freeze immediately.

6Yield: approximately 20 to 30 cakes.
