Crab Casserole

  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 c. sliced mushrooms (canned, drained or fresh)
  • 1 lb. crab or sea legs
  • 2 Tbsp. dry sherry
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 c. bread or cracker crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. melted margarine with some Parmesan cheese

    Grease pan.

    Melt butter and saute onion and mushrooms for 3 minutes.

    Add crab, sherry and salt.

    Blend flour and milk and add to skillet.

    Cook until thickened.

    Stir in cheese.

    Put in greased baking dish.

    Sprinkle crumbs and oleo on top.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
