  • 8 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 small loaf French bread
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 (6 oz.) can flaked crabmeat
  • 1 oz. pimentos

Directions

    Melt butter (or margarine) and cheese over low heat, add lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and garlic salt; mix well.

    Process in blender until smooth.

    In bowl fold in crabmeat and pimentos.

    Mix well.

    Slice bread into 1/2 inch slices and spread with crab mixture.

    Bake on ungreased baking sheet at 350° for 15 minutes. Serve immediately.
