Crab Rounds

  • 1/2 lb. crabmeat
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. chive cream cheese, whipped
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. minced green onion
  • 15 slices white bread (with crusts trimmed)
  • 1 lb. bacon (uncooked)

Directions

    Remove any remaining pieces of shell or cartilage from crabmeat.

    In bowl, combine crab, cream cheese, parsley and onion. Mix well.

    Spread each slice of bread with heaping tablespoonful of crab mixture and roll bread in jelly roll fashion.

    Cut roll into thirds.

    Cut bacon slices in half.

    Roll one piece of bacon around each bread roll.

    Secure with toothpick.

    Place on baking sheet and bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes, turning once during baking.
