Ingredients

  • 1 lb. white crabmeat
  • 1/3 c. white onion
  • 1/3 c. green onion
  • 1/3 c. bell pepper
  • 2 slices bread
  • 1 egg
  • 2 large red potatoes
  • 1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/3 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. seafood seasoning
  • 1 c. flour

    Boil the potatoes until they are soft.

    While potatoes are boiling, mix crabmeat with white onion, green onion, bell pepper and white crabmeat, then toast 2 slices of bread.

    Crumble the bread into the rest of the ingredients.

    Add the potatoes.

    Mix thoroughly with 1 egg, seasoned salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper and seafood seasoning.

    Shape crabmeat into patty.

    Pass the patties into flour on both sides.

    Fry in shortening until golden brown on both sides.
