- 3 gal. popped corn
- 2 c. parched peanuts
- 2 1/2 c. light brown sugar
- 3 c. white sugar
- 1 c. white Karo
- 3 tsp. salt
- 2 sticks butter
- 2/3 c. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Keep corn and peanuts in 250° oven.

2I use a metal dishpan. Combine all ingredients except vanilla.

3Cook over medium heat to hard cracked stage (pour strands of hot syrup in glass of cold water to check).

4Add vanilla and peanuts to syrup.

5Pour syrup over corn and mix quickly.

6Pour on foil sprayed with Pam.

7Spread and make into large pieces with 2 buttered forks.

8Store in airtight container.
