Ingredients
- 3 qt. popped corn
- 1/2 c. pecans or peanuts
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. light Karo syrup
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Put popped corn and nuts in a greased pan.

2In a medium pan melt butter.

3Add the brown sugar, salt and syrup.

4Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes.

5Remove from heat and add the baking soda and vanilla.

6Pour over popcorn and stir with a wooden spoon.

7Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

8Stir every 10 minutes.

9Pour on waxed paper and let cool.
