- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries, coarsely chopped
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°. Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

2In a bowl, sift flour, baking powder and salt.

3Add with milk to the sugar and butter mixture.

4Stir by hand just to moisten ingredients. Stir in cranberries.

5Spoon into 18 (2 1/2-inch) muffin cups, filling 3/4 full.

6Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Makes 18 muffins.
