Cranberry Pineapple Chutney

- 2 (13 1/2 oz. each) cans pineapple tidbits (or crushed)
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 lb. cranberries
- 1 c. light raisins
- 1/4 tsp. each: allspice and salt
- 1/2 tsp. each: ginger and cinnamon
- dash of cayenne pepper (if handy)
Directions

1Drain pineapple and put aside.

2Mix its juice with sugar, cranberries, raisins, spices, salt and cayenne in a heavy saucepan.

3Cook to boiling.

4Lower heat and simmer 20 minutes. Add pineapple; simmer 10 minutes more.

5Keep either in deep freeze or refrigerate if paraffin sealed.
