Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage, shredded
  • 2 pkg. Ramen noodles, broken (do not use seasoning packet)
  • 3/4 c. toasted sunflower seeds
  • 1 pkg. slivered almonds
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 1 c. oil
  • 6 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp. sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste or use 1 packet Ramen seasoning
  • 1 c. small macaroni shells
  • 4 c. shredded greens (spinach, red leaf lettuce, romaine)
  • 4 carrots, pared and cut into 2-inch sticks
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
  • 1 small red onion, halved, sliced crosswise and separated into rings
  • 1/2 lb. cooked ham, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. snipped fresh dill or 1 1/2 tsp. dill weed
  • 2 hard-cooked eggs, cut into wedges
