  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1- 3 oz. package cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. finely grated orange rind
  • 2 1/2 cups sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Cream shortening and cheese together; add sugar and continue creaming.

    Beat egg yolk, vanilla, and orange rind together.

    Sift flour, salt and cinnamon together.

    Mix all ingredients together. Place cookies on a cookie sheet and bake 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
