  • 3/4 lb. butter or margarine
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 3 c. flour

    Cream together butter and cream cheese, blending in sugar with electric mixer.

    Add eggs, one at a time, and continue to blend. Add flavorings and flour and beat until smooth.

    Don't overbeat. Pour batter into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.

    Bake in 325° oven 1 1/2 hours until cake is golden.
