Cream-Style Corn Bread

  • 2 Tbsp. bacon grease
  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
  • 1 c. self-rising corn meal

Directions

    Heat bacon grease in an iron skillet until very hot.

    Combine remaining ingredients and pour into hot skillet.

    Place in oven and bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes until set.

    Slice in wedges to serve.
