  • 1 cup plus 2 Tbsp. flour, divided
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1 cup sugar, divided
  • 1-1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon, divided
  • 1/2 cup cold butter or margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 container (15 oz.) POLLY-O Original Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 lb. apples, peeled, sliced (about 6 cups)

    Heat oven to 375F.

    Mix 1 cup of the flour, oats, 1/4 cup of the sugar and 1/2 tsp.

    of the cinnamon in medium bowl.

    Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; set aside.

    Beat egg and ricotta in large bowl until well blended.

    Stir in apples, remaining 3/4 cup sugar, remaining 2 Tbsp.

    flour and remaining 1 tsp.

    cinnamon.

    Spoon into greased 2-quart baking dish; sprinkle with the crumb mixture.
