- 2 (12 ounce) cans chickpeas
- 12 cup tahini
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 14 onion (diced)
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 teaspoons paprika
Directions

1In a pan, boil chick peas and juice until chick peas are soft enough to use in a blender.

2Separate peas from juice, and set juice aside.

3Place peas, tahini, oil, lemon juice, vinegar, and onion into a blender and blend until fairly smooth.

4Consistency should be thick.

5Add chick pea juice little by little until hummus is at the desired consistency.

6Season to taste.

7Add more lemon juice or garlic salt where needed.

8Place in a bowl and drizzle top with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika.

9Refrigerate at least 1 hour before eating.
