- 4 halves chicken breast, skinned and washed
- 1 c. flour
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 c. Crisco
Directions

1Dredge chicken breasts in flour, salt and pepper mixture.

2Put Crisco in cast-iron skillet.

3Melt over medium heat on stove. Place chicken breast in skillet and cook until golden brown.

4Turn over and cook with lid on for another 20 minutes.

5Remove lid. Cook about 5 minutes more.

6Serve at once.
