  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 1 c. yellow corn meal
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt

    mixing bowl. Add milk, butter and corn meal. Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

    Pour into buttered 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes, until edges are browned.

    Cool and cut into diamond shapes.
