- 10 flour tortillas (room temperature)
- 2 Granny Smith apples, chopped
- 1/2 c. sugar (more if desired)
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 dash nutmeg
- butter (for spreading on tortillas)
- Crisco (for deep frying)
- powdered sugar (for topping)
Directions

1Mix apples, cinnamon, sugar and nutmeg.

2Spread each tortilla with butter.

3Put heaping tablespoonful of apple mixture onto tortilla, leaving enough room for folding.

4Fold ends, then roll. Place one fold in hot grease; deep fry until lightly browned. Drain on paper towels.

5Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cooled.
