Crock Pot Cornbread Dressing

  • 1 8 inch pan cornbread
  • 8 slices day old bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sage
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 2 cans chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper (optional)

Directions

    Break up bread.

    Mix all ingredients with bread, except margarine.

    Pour into crock-pot, dot margarine on top.

    Cover and cook on high for 2 hours or on low for 4 hours.
