Crock Pot Pulled Pork

- 4 lbs pork roast
- 2 large onions
- 1 cup ginger ale or 1 cup root beer
- 1 (18 ounce) bottle barbecue sauce
Directions

1Slice one onion and place in crock pot.

2Put in the roast and cover with the other onion (sliced).

3Pour over the ginger ale or root beer.

4Cover and cook on low for about 12 hours or on high for 4 hours.

5Remove meat, strain and save the onions, discard all of the liquid.

6With two forks, shred the pork, removing any bone, fat or skin.

7Return the shredded meat and the onion to the crock pot, stir in the BBQ sauce.

8Continue to cook on low for 4 to 6 hours or on high 2 hours.

9Serve on your favorite buns.
