Ingredients

  • 6 cube steaks
  • 28 oz can of diced tomatoes
  • 2 cubes beef bouillon
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can dark kidney beans
  • 1 tsp ground mustard
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 large onion, chopped
  • 4 cup rice, prepared according to package

Directions

    Slice steak into strips, put in crockpot.

    Mix bouillon with water, stir to dissolve.

    I use a beef bouillon paste which dissolves faster.

    Combine all spices, diced tomatoes, kidney beans and diced onion.

    Add to crockpot.

    Stir in beef bouillon.

    Mix thoroughly.

    Cook on low for 6 hours.

    Serve over prepared rice.
