  • 2 qt. cucumbers (5 medium)
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1/2 c. salt
  • 1 gal. water or 3 qt.
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • celery seed

Directions

    Soak cucumbers and onions in salt water 2 hours (1/2 cup salt to 1 gallon water or 3 quarts).

    Drain; rinse.

    Boil sugar, vinegar and celery seed.

    Cool slightly.

    Pour over cucumbers. Mix.

    Freeze for 5 days.
